Dr. Domenico Valente:
Dr. Valente is a member of the following: American Academy of Dermatology Andrew M. Herbst, M.D., F.A.A.D. Andrew Herbst, M.D., was raised in Ossining, NY and attended Cornell University. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1996. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1997. Dr. Herbst trained in dermatology at SYNY Downstate Medical Center serving as Chief Resident in 2000. He then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the Dermatologic Surgicenter in Philadelphia, PA. Upon completion of his training in June 2001, Dr. Herbst joined Dermatology Laser & Plastic Susrgery. He continues to be involved in academic medicine as he has served as Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center since July 2001, where he trains dermatology residents in Dermatologic surgery. Dr. Herbst is lectures at national dermatology meetings on Dermatologic surgical techniques. Dr. Herbst is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Susrgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He is a member of the Long Island Dermatologic Society and the Dermatology Society of Greater New York. Eric Slone, M.D. Dr. Eric Slone is a graduate of the University of the Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School. He received his general surgical training at the Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Slone completed his plastic surgical training at New York Hospital and at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Slone has been in private practice for 18 years and joined Dermatology Laser & Plastic Surgery in 2006. Additionally, Dr. Slone is an attending surgeon at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, North Shore / Long Island Jewish at Plainview and Syosset and New Island Hospital. Lloyd D. Landsman, M.D., F.A.C.S. Dr. Lloyd D. Landsman received his education and training at some of the finest academic institutions in the country. He attended the University of Michigan, where he graduated with honors. He earned his medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in General Surgery at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center and ultimately attained board certification in General Surgery. He concluded his post-graduate training at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, where he developed expertise in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, body contouring and facial cosmetic surgery. Certification by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery completes an impressive array of academic qualifications. Dr. Landsman has also been accepted as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is presently the Chief of the division of Plastic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY. Dr. Landsman is an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Landsman's enthusiasm for his work, coupled with his warm, friendly and professional manner, creates the ideal atmosphere for patient comfort. Dr. Sherry Li was raised in China and came to the United States at age 21. Eight years later, she received both MD and PhD degrees from the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, one of the Top-10 medical schools in the country. She graduated with high honors and was became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Li finished her medical internship training at Stanford University Hospital in 1999 and completed her residency in Dermatology at UCLA medical center in 2002. During her residency, she was awarded the Outstanding Dermatology Resident Award and the prestigious Dermatology Foundation Research Fellowship Award in recognition of her contribution to dermatological research. Dr. Li is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of both the American of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery for years. Her clinical interests are in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer, cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. With years of experience in clinical practice, she excels in the diagnosis and treatment of all medical dermatologic diseases of all age groups: including acne, rosacea, psoriasis and various dermatitis diseases. She provides skin cancer and pigmented lesion screening, removal of benign and malignant growths, evaluation of hair loss and the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Her expertise also includes facial rejuvenation with chemical peels, cosmetic laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, soft tissue augmentation and Botox.
